Admission Requirements and Procedures

Admission to the school is competitive.  Our goal is to select the candidates that will benefit most from our training program.  The school reserves the right to admit or reject an applicant at the school’s discretion at any point in the admissions process.

Those wishing to be eligible for admissions must:

*  be at least 18 years of age or have graduated high school.  Students under the age of eighteen must have a parent’s or guardian’s signed consent.

*  visit the school for a tour and personal interview

*  possess a high school diploma or GED

*  have normal vision and be able to see all colors of the spectrum.  The student’s vision will be evaluated using the Goodlite Color Vision Test.  Students unable to discern all colors of the spectrum may still be accepted upon signing a liability waiver.

Students wanting to attend The Academy Of Wildlife Art need to first contact the school for space availability and to make an appointment to visit the school for a tour and interview.  At the time of the school tour students will bring a copy of their diploma or GED and valid Identification.  Students will then be given a personal interview.  Upon completion of the interview students will take a basic hand-eye coordination test and a color blindness test.
